Does anyone notice they used RIUM's Digital Myst Linking Book?!
...then it crapped the bed and stackdumped.

Just a quick note: Cyan posted a note on Google+ recently:
This morning we were planning to release realMyst: Masterpiece Edition. However, we found a small issue. We’ve found the cause, and we’re working on a quick turn-around. Thanks for your patience!

The same message was also posted on Facebook.

Looks like the Mac App Store links you all posted, don't work. I did a search in the Mac App Store and it doesn't seem to be there right now.

I can confirm that it was there, because they used an edited picture of RIUM's Myst Book for the logo in the App Store.

It was up this morning -- I saw it -- but it has been pulled. Hopefully the turn-around will indeed be quick.

It's out on Steam! I'm going to get it. Even if it doesn't run on my computer, I'll have it for later when I get a better one.

Looks great, but I wish there was a way to remap controls. Also, for some reason you can invert mouselook in classic mode, but not in free roam. It also runs very poorly on my more-than-capable machine.

Well, that's great to hear... :( I'm downloading it now, so here's hoping it will run on my computer.

rMME runs well on the modest graphics of my 4-year-old iMac (512MB ATI Radeon HD 4850).
I got used to the controls after a short while. I only miss the variable walking speeds that an analog stick (gamepad) provides, which I admit is a very minor point from a minority of players. It's something Cyan might consider for future 3D games, tho...

As for the RIUM book: I didn't know anything about the book, but it's listed in the opening credits.
Also, I *love* the flashlight. No chance of me being eaten by a grue! (Oh, my, I'm an old gamer...)
