My first thought was that both pictures were details from Uru, quite a common fan puzzle type. Looking at the second picture, I'm not so sure. It looks like Uru, but I can't remember anything just like this.

Hmm... this was originally posted as a Twitter response too Cyans channel-wood image, I wonder if it, like the channel-wood image is a teesure for something.

Somehow the second one reminds me of the Great Zero.
Might also try brightening those up, although that probably would be a bit pointless for the second one. The black areas are quite a black black, not a slightly gray black.

Did anyone notice the profile pic of Relto on Twitter?

Whoops, somehow thought that it was the same as one of the tweeted ones, thanks for pointing that out. Looks like we got more transl(iter)ating to do then...

PS: I've done said brightening and some other things, hoping to find something else in those images... no luck. Anyway, if you want to you can see for yourself. Please ignore the really stupid image names.
PPS: Note the image names. First one is "mvke" and the second one "dgri"...

Just to clear the air here -- I have moved this topic from the "General Discussion" forum to the "Creativity" forum. This project (if it is a project of some kind) is not something Cyan is working on.

Thanks Hannah.

It still looks pretty interesting, even as fan work. I take it the second picture, which does bring the great zero to mind, is from a work in progress.

If you check my brightened version of the second picture, there's something interesting in the lower right. Somehow it reminds me of the GZ floor painting, just that the turning thing in the middle is missing.

Relto has also tweeted again, "We'll begin again here".

All very cryptic!
