I think all the teaser images we've seen have been from the trailer :)

50K! Yay! There's still a long way to go, though. Be sure to tell all your friends, even the ones who haven't thought about Myst in many years!

EDIT: looks like there's a reddit post on /r/gaming: http://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments ... obduction/
Give it a vote if you're a reddit member, so more gamers see the link!

My goodness, this is exciting. I remember the previews and debut of Uru with the same excitement I'm now feeling about Obduction, but this time with the benefit of years of experience... and the realization that this time Cyan won't be shackled by the demands of publishers who don't fully understand what they're all about.

Cyan has told us that Riven was what happens when they have money. Can you imagine what we might see now that Cyan has access to crowdsourcing, plus the latest dev tools? Myst changed the gaming industry, and exploded our conceptions of what gaming could be. I fully expect Obduction to the do the same, and I am thrilled to the core to know it's on the way. Yes, I'll donate!

And.... backing the game too!! Very exciting. Not just for the game but to be able to support it too.

I'm also excited about Cyan using something newer than Plasma for their tech :)

Whoot! This is very exciting! Just saw the teaser video and the concept art looks intriguing.

I loved the pic near the end - I recognized quite a few explorers from a Mysterium some years ago!
AM looking forward to seeing what comes of it. Hope RL settles down by then.

A lot of chatter on the KS comments and in Reddit about wishing Robyn was in on the project. I hope he's been offered the chance to contribute something, even though I know he was kind of done with games after Riven :)

Wait wasn't that supposed to happen in two weeks?
Did you guys do that earlier because of the general enthusiasm online? :p
Anyhow those are exciting times..

My first backing of a Kickstarter project! I'm feeling all tingly. :D The contributions rose 6 grand just in the time it took to watch the intro, read through the levels and complete my pledge. Darn exciting! I know what my new favorite website will be for the next 29 days. So when do you think the special contributor's forum will open?

Hi Aloys, I'm happy to se you are also here following the events. This remind me of the early uru days.

It is now the time to analyse the video and all the concept art to speculate about this promizing game!

Someone posed the /r/gaming link, but the /r/games one is much higher: http://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/ ... eators_of/

Hey guys! Just wanted to give you guys a bit of an update. All of us got in at about 5am and we just hovered around Rand while waiting to push the launch button (which is not red, but green). Now we're all trying to answer questions and get the word out. So far, the response has been positive and I thank you guys for being so awesome.... SO here's a picture!

The democratization of game development, among other markets, instead of having to go the the publisher barons is an awesome, awesome thing.
