I dont really know whether it is an BUG? I mean it but already from the "realMYST" from 2000 knowing.
If it is night you can hear the same background noise than as if it were day.
Would hear birds chirping crickets chirping instead of one or an owl?
regards,
Seppolo

I noticed that, too. But, I told myself, "this is Myst Island; we don't know what kind of strange creatures there might be here. Some might even chirp around the clock."

Usually at night, some romantics in boats, some on land, and some sitting on the stepping stones, all the creatures gather around the clock where you can hear them sing "Rock Around The Clock" except they substitute "Rock" with "Chirp." Bill Haley is something of a legend on Myst Island. Can you imagine?
