I'm stuck in 1920 x 1080 resolution

Hello everyone!

I've recently bought (just this morning in fact ) realMyst: ME.

My screen resolution is fullHD 1080p. When I run the game the image is sharp and everything is great except that everything looks compressed in height and too wide. For example, a book in the Library looks like...

No not like this... this is not what I took when I was playing!!!

I don't know what happened, now it looks like a real book, mine on my screen is square-shaped!

Can you help me? I want to play the game and see the book as in the 1st picture and not as I see in-game (2nd picture's red square)!

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. In order to help, we're going to need some more information:

What OS are you running? And what settings are you using in-game? It might also be helpful to know where you bought the game (what version), because there might be an issue with that specific version.

And finally, what video card do you have, and have you updated your drivers?

Hmm...

I finally figured out that there was a 2nd tab in the settings. The first one is shown by default (the game controls: classic or gamer), the second is for the screen resolution.

I was in Fullscreen (which I dislike) and now that I'm back in window mode, it's ok! My books are now appearing the right size, my view is not stretched anymore.
