This thread will be for current version released and the hotfix/update release notes. I will sticky this and lock it to keep it clean and easy to find.
The Obduction Team is working hard to fix problems and issues (and more platform releases!) as quickly as they can.


On Steam. There are two versions available to the public. One is the default and the other is accessible as a BETA. In the Steam properties window for Obduction (right-click on Obduction in your Library and select Properties from the menu), select LOCAL FILES tab, you will see “Current content BuildID” followed by a number. This is the Steam version.
Using the BETA is at your own risk and can be retrieved by going to the BETAS tab in the Properties window for Obduction. Enter “publicpreview” (without the quotes, no spaces) in the beta access code text box and hit CHECK CODE button.
Currently on Steam:
default = Steam BuildID 1310800 = Internal 21182 - P1 (Aug 31, 2016)
publicpreview = Steam BuildID 1350934 = Internal 21615 - P2 (Sept 22, 2016)



On GoG.com. You can check the download version on GoG.com by going to your LIBRARY, select VIEW DOWNLOADS and the GOG version will be listed under the OS type.
Currently on GoG.com:
GOG-4 = Internal 21065 (Aug 29, 2016)

Fix for stuck loading screens with unsupported languages! Game will now properly default to English when local OS language does not have a localization file available

Global
• Fix for game icon not appearing in windows task bar in some conditions
• Fix for unsupported OS languages causing failed loading and empty menus
• Fixed some missing Backer Rewards messages
• Photos now have a slideshow option
• Photos previously taken should sort correctly
• Photos will now appear for users with foreign or special characters in their Windows user account name
• Backer reward items popup is now disabled by default in-game. This can still be enabled through the options menu
• Updates to node navigation
• Fixes for minecart getting stuck in rocks under some conditions
• Fixes for misalignment in The Gauntlet
• Fix for Kaptar generator pistons losing correct state when loading
• Fix for player falling out of world on new game and load game in some cases
