What is "eoa.exe"?

Postby rastergrafx » Wed Jul 04, 2018 1:43 pm

I downloaded the 25th Anniversary collection last night, and I was surprised to find a shield icon on the shortcut for Myst V. :?

I highlighted the icon and the file location said "eoa" instead of "GalaxyClient" like the others. Then I double-clicked on it and I received a message asking whether this unknown publisher "eoa.exe" should make changes to my device.

Does anyone know what this is? Should I be concerned?

E.O.A. = End Of Ages

The shield is added to the icon of any program that requires admin privileges to launch (if you were to play on a non-admin account, like I do, you’d have to type in the password here). As far as I know it’s normal for Myst V.
