Another hint please

I'm back and thought of this while I was gone. I re visited the office and I'm still stuck on the paper with the drawing on it. I have turned on the time and when 626 comes around I link to the little round pool. Thought something would happen there. I've gone back to ovens and linked to that place above the pool. I have gone through the 3 worlds water misty and space plus the other shell books.....Can you narrow my search down a bit?

You have two links to the Bahro cave. One in Er'cana which leads to the upper part, and another on Ahnonay which leads to the lower part. Why should there be two links to the same place? I mean, you can easily get to the bottom cave from the upper part.

That paper seems to indicate that there is a connection between the two. What are the two caves shaped like? Why is there a clock-like thing with the number 625 on it next to it? Consider the "theme" of Ahnonay: time travel.

I am still thinking about this but something you said I want to ask about. You said, " you can easily get to the bottom cave from the upper part." I might need to check that out further. The only way I can do that is to link back to the hut and then link to Bahro Cave and to the lower part. So I must be missing a link somewhere??

Don't be misled, you can't in fact travel from the upper cave to the lower or vice versa.

that timer

Well I start the timer and link to upper cave and lower thinking I have only that time to make it. I have also have waited until 625 comes into the window and then linked to upper and lower caves. There is a link book that has only the cathedral in it as well as the cathedral link in the shell room. I have traveled all of those plus the 3 worlds water misty and space. So I'm still staring at that timer and that drawing........

Do the timer and drawing give you any ideas? They are meant to inspire rather than directly contribute to solving this puzzle.

Is there anything else that you can do with the upper bahro cave? Can you do that, and then be inspired by the timer and drawing?

The drawing inspires me to jump into the hole in the upper cave but I have another idea......

the ovens

Of course the ovens! I set all the timers to 625 and made a batch of pellets. I threw all 5 of them in the hole in the upper cave and nothing happened. Looking at the drawing again it shows only 3 pellets so I made another batch and threw 3 of them in the hole in the upper cave. Low and behold they had a sizzley sound and the third one shows me throwing in the pellet into the pool. The pool bubbled brown bubbles. Thinking the timer may have something to do with the big clock in the shell room so I visited there and pushed the stone ball up as far as it would go. I also traveled the cathedrals and the 3 worlds because those are the only time travel links I can think of. Is the drawing telling me more than I have already discovered?

Oooh, you are getting close! But why change the oven settings? You had previously found the right settings, as I remember.

The number of pellets doesn't matter, though more than one can make life easier.

You don't need to do anything with the ball or the other three worlds.

I changed the oven settings to 625 because that was on the drawing...ok I'll change them back and see what happens!

Ahnonay

And the surprises still continue! I was able to light up Ahnonay cave with the pellets and photographed all the symbols on the wall. Looking at them I felt they were telling me to go to the original place where the volcano and tree were. I visited both sunny and rainy side. I also visited the tree again where those symbols were and the light fixture is exactly like the one in Er'cana. Is this the end of my journey? :(

Not quite. There is one last mystery to solve here. You must solve the Watcher's riddle. In you explorations, you've found all these little notes with numbers on them. Use those to help you.

Watchers riddle

I read the blue books that the Watcher transcribed. He talked about a door at the end of my journey. He talked about following the shell and the stone. He talked about watching the tree and his number is 625. That is the same number on the paper in the cave. 532 says to roll the stone to see the deceiver. I have visited the tree, the shell, rolled the stone. I'm guessing I need to wait and watch somewhere?

There is only a limited number of things you can do in the Watcher's chamber. They are all mentioned in the books. The language is a bit cryptic but if you think about your options there, and look at the text, you should be able to figure this out.

You're on the right track with these. Just need to go a few steps further. The passages tell you to wait. Do they ever mention where?
