Has anybody seen this from Cyan? It really looks cool. When will it be out?

There's another thread in of off-topic section where we are discussing this, but to answer you questions:
Cyan is hoping to find a funding partner for this. As of yet there is no release date because Cyan doesn't even know if it can make the game in the first place. They just made a kind of proof of concept to shop to backers.

VR Only... Best of luck to them.
I used to be an adventurer like you, then I found other games to play.

This very demo is VR-only, but according to both Rand Miller and Ryan Warzecha, no final platform has been decided yet.

What about this link from the other thread?

Maybe they meant final VR platform?

Looks like we need Cyan to confirm this.

Let's find out how many fans have VR...

Ohh, I'm confused now…
2 days ago, I've read that no platform were decided yet (What I understood as Win, OS X, Linux are not rejected yet). and now, this! :?

I guess you're right.

area51 seemed to be confused as to what a platform was as if it were a contradiction to be on VR and to be on PC.

I understand that they can't cater to every single demographic, but as someone with epilepsy who cannot play VR, I find this very disappointing.
